I am on a loooong bike tour around the US and needed a couple of issues with my bicycle checked out. I was surprised when I checked on-line and found multiple bike shops to be open on Sunday. Looking at the on-line reviews led to a decision to go to Peninsula Bike Works. Although he was “booked out until Tuesday”, Nico understood my need for immediate service and went to work on my bike. While he worked, he answered my various questions concerning the issues with my bike, what he was doing to correct them and general questions about bike parts and maintenance. Also being very familiar with the local area, he provided me with an improved route for where I wanted to go and let me use the shop’s internet to replan my route and send it to my Garmin. AMAZING SERVICE!!! I was on my way with an improved route on my improved bicycle!

Local shop that's open 7 days a week. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They answer all my newbie questions. They took care of my semi-recumbent bike and will be my subject matter experts on my ebike journey. Reliable, trustworthy, and very fairly priced.

Truly a great experience helping me with my bike. The guys were knowledgeable, friendly and straight up with what I needed for my bike. I would highly recommend checking Bikeworks out for all your bicycle needs!

I bring my bike and my spouse's bike for maintenance and love the service. They take good care and charge fair prices for the work. They give honest advice when needed and don't try to upsell for things you don't need. Will continue to come here for all my bike needs.

I didn't make it in the front door. I saw the business driving in and thought I might visit it after a quick pick up from a neighboring business. Unfortunately, I pulled into their parking spot (which you cannot see is their spot until you are almost in the spot and have no where to go but pull in and use it as a three point turn to get out of the tight space). I was going to back up, but there was a person wandering the parking lot trying to find the right business to deliver a package and then someone walked up to my car. I was trapped in the spot, so I turned off my car and figured I'd run my five minute stop and then possibly stop in to check out the business. The owner was the person at my car stating that I needed to be doing something with a bike or leave. I pointed to the person wandering the lot that had trapped me in the spot. Didn't matter - I needed to get out of that spot! Once the owner and delivery person moved, I moved. I won't be back to this business. If you are looking to visit, here is a picture of the spot. You will have to pull into a small parking area and it is the spot hidden in the middle of other spots. Hopefully you have a better visit than me.
