I just purchased a new electric bike from John Cecil the owner. Outstanding customer service and a wealth of knowledge. I went to several stores in the area prior to venturing into Cecil’s Cyclery on PCH in Corona Del Mar. such a great experience. I test drove a few bikes and found the perfect match. Really good prices too. I highly recommend coming here to get your perfect bike. 5 stars! ⭐️

This is a fantastic bike shop located in Corona Del Mar. They have an impressive selection of bikes and provide excellent customer service. The owner was especially great to work with, helping us with a repair that had to be done through the manufacturer (no fault of Cecil’s). He kept us consistently updated on the status, and the repair was done perfectly. We can’t thank them enough!

We rented Fat Tire bikes for 2 hrs from this location and had a separate rental from the balboa island location for 2 hrs a couple of days earlier. Service was excellent and we were given great advice about which route to take which is why we returned another day. It took 10 minutes to get paperwork, helmets and bikes after arriving. We had a 5 minute explanation of how the bikes worked and then we were on our way. The bikes themselves were great condition, really fun to ride and we could get upto 25mph on a good road which for my 14 yo son he thought was amazing. Both locations were a great experience but very different terrains. Corona Del Mar was great riding through the Crystal Cove State Park, along the trails and along some of the beach there as it wasn't busy. Balboa Island was a nice crossing on the ferry and then a ride along the boardwalk to newport beach. A great experience and we'll come back again if we return to LA.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with this electric bike shop and, unfortunately, it revolves around the owner. The level of customer service provided by the owner was shockingly poor. Not only did the owner seem disinterested in addressing my concerns, but they also displayed a complete lack of professionalism. My attempts to communicate my issues were met with dismissive responses and an overall unhelpful attitude. Additionally, the owner's apparent disorganization contributed to a significant delay in receiving my order, with no clear communication about the reasons behind the delay. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable, especially considering the premium prices charged for their electric bikes. I was left feeling frustrated and regretful about choosing this shop. I expected a much higher standard of service, and unfortunately, the owner's attitude completely tarnished my experience. I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious and consider alternative options with more customer-focused ownership.
