These folks are so kind! Great taste in bikes and accessories + excellent service. Glad to have them around.

2024 edit (5 years later): I've been back with a family member recently. The new location is really nice and we had a normal retail experience with people who know their stuff and helped the family member find the right part. Original review: Not sure why people like this store so much. They do sell bikes and I bought one. Never would again. Prices? high. Service? mixed, but mostly surly. If you want the thrill of shopping High Fidelity as a bike shop, go for it.

Good deal if you come as a group. Jamie gave us awesome tips for a tour and to have a break at some restaurants, breweries, vineyards .. Friendly staff and very well looked after bikes.

It was 11AM and we were at the start of a very long ride. My brakes were really acting up so we stopped in front of Classic Cycle. They weren't open until Noon so we started trying to fix the problem ourselves. In the middle of me and my partner arguing over the issue, a man comes up and asks us if we need help. He was the mechanic from the shop! I said "You aren't open yet." He replied "That's ok, I know what's wrong with your brakes. Let's take it inside." Totally surprised, we brought my bike in and he fixed the problem in about 5 mins. He then refused to let me pay! Luckily, my partner needed a water bottle so we at least got to support them that way. What a rad dude! The other thing I'll say about this shop, is that it is beautiful! Wonderful vintage bicycles and paraphernalia. It's like a museum! Definitely worth a visit.

A cyclist's dream shop! The owner, Paul, is a former mechanic with the US cycling team. He's an expert in all kinds of adjustments and repairs. I don't think there is anything about bikes he doesn't know. The shop has a great assortment of bikes for kids and adults of all abilities. Whether you are a beginner or a long time rider, Classic Cycles will have something of interest for you, including Paul's amazing collection of classic racing bikes. Highly recommended!
