I brought my bike in to have it looked at for a rear derailleur issue that occurred mid cyclocross race. Seth is who took my bike in. In the end, I ended up getting my bike back with it shifting great, my bike was cleaned by Seth of all the dirt from my race and he even trued up my rear wheel on the house. When picking my bike up I ended up sticking around and talking with Hales about local gravel rides and events, as well as what tires she recommends for riding around here. With me being new to the area I was really appreciative of the local knowledge/information! Thanks, Conte’s crew!

I had a great experience buying my new bike from Conte's in Vienna. Working with Paul was great - he understood exactly what I was looking for in a bike. He was kind, accessible, clear, and made the whole experience really easy. I love this bike! Great price-point too!

Awesome shop! Right on the W&OD trail and with amazing staff. I spoke to Peter about getting a hybrid. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed. Eddie very helpful, really appreciate you showing me how to adjust the bikes. Will definitely use them in the future for any bike maintenance needs

Conte’s shop has the best service and selection in Vienna. The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. My 4-year-old asks to go visit the bike shop once a week because they go out of their way to make him feel welcome. They answer his 1,236 questions, show him tools, bike parts and let him try the kids’ bikes. They have been so helpful to all of us and their prices are very reasonable. I ride a Trek but won’t even go to the Trek shop in town because we have Conte’s instead 🙃 Hales, the manager, is exceptional!! Runs a fabulous shop and hosts great group rides and events.

I am new to VA and my Specialized Sirrus (that I hadn’t ridden much) needed some attention. Every time I pedaled it felt like something wasn’t engaging correctly - like there was “empty space” from when I pedaled to when the chain actually started moving. I took it to another bike shop down here (the one closest to me) and explained the problem. The guy there looked at it and told me what I was experiencing was normal and if I wanted to resolve it, I would need to replace the entire cassette and it wouldn’t be worth it. He then put all of his efforts into upselling me every little thing that he thought I needed for my bike. I left there thinking I was nuts because I’ve ridden kids’ Walmart bikes that didn’t give me the problems I was experiencing on my Sirrus. I got the bike home and took it out for a ride, then decided to take it elsewhere because the slipping issue was making riding not enjoyable. Called Conte’s in Vienna and they said to bring it in. They immediately got back to me and said something was obviously wrong with the bike and they were trying to identify the cause. After figuring out what was wrong, they fixed it and I now have my bike back in working order. I will 100% be using them as my go to from here on out. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and they actually took the time to identify the issue and resolve it for me. If you want good service, this is the place to go!
