Love this!!! I had been thinking about getting an eBike for a while even though I have a bike already. I wanted pedal assist for steep inclines and strong bay winds. I shopped for a long while but had not been able to find a eBike that was comfortable for me. Thanks to Matt at EMPowered Cycles, rather than buying a new eBike, I got my bike converted. This is a perfect solution. I love the system installed - it's easy to shift gears, it doesn't weigh down my bike (unlike heavy eBikes). Plus, I get to continue enjoying my bike that I have had for years, and would miss otherwise. Thank You Matt/EMPowered Cycles!!!!!

All around excellent experience. Loving my healthier life as an ebike owner. Matt is super knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He took the time to answer all my questions, was mindful of my budget, and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I have a chronic illness that makes it both very difficult and pretty important that I exercise. Ebiking is the proving to be the perfect for this -- I'm able to get my legs moving on my good days and my bad ones. Matt, you are (kinda literally) a life saver!

I've now bought three e-bike conversion kits from Empowered Cycles -- great customer service from Matt! He's super responsive and helpful. And the converted bikes (Surly Bridge Clubs and Surly Long Haul Trucker) feel better than any stock e-bike that I've ridden. Recommended!

After having my system on my bike and riding it for four solid seasons nearly five I must say Matt has created a system that is turnkey and works flawless if I could give him six stars I sure would I absolutely recommend Matt and empowered cycles they'll take care of you 100% and you'll be more than satisfied long-term with your again I must say thank you Matt for everything you've done for me it's been an honor to be your customer!!! Excellent!!! I called Matt at the shop to get information prior to making my purchase he was the most helpful and accommodating business person I have ever dealt with very professional very knowledgeable and willing to answer any question I had without any hesitation I would give him the highest recommendation possible as a business owner that's ready to take care of this customer at all costs. I purchase the bbshd system which is a complete TurnKey system from him and I had a local shop install it on my Trek Cruiser the shop that installed at the technician told me it was the best install he's ever done of third-party equipment he said everything went together perfectly like it was built for the bike since I've had this kit on my bike I've 160 miles and two and a half weeks and me being a disabled person that really is an amazing thing for me because it allows me to go fishing now which I couldn't do in the past so five stars is not a great enough rating I wish I could give a higher rating but if you're looking for a system to make your bike a converted into an e-bike Matt and his business is the way to go because he will take you before during and after to where you want to be in your project and do everything possible to help you I could not be happier and it was well worth the money. I've had many comments from people throughout the area where I live about the system I have where I got it from how well it works so on so forth and everybody just says how well it looks and they thought that I had this bike ordered just like that they thought it was the bill from the factory but did not realize it was a third party at all everybody really comments on how well it works and I tell you it is smooth and seamless in operation.

Em Powered Cycles (Matt) replaced the Bafang mid drive motor on our Co-Motion tandem bike yesterday. Matt is an exceptional technician and a great person to work with. We feel fortunate to have found him. If you are thinking of converting your bicycle to electric motor drive then Matt is the one to talk to.
