There are good bike shops and bad bike shops and then there is Jack the Bike Man. This place is fantastic. I took my bike there to be fixed after some other bike shop had my bike for over a month and failed to fix it. They also have an extensive selection of both new and used bikes for you to peruse and they run a children's charity to ensure that less fortunate children have bicycles to ride.

Looking for a bicycle? Don’t want to spend top dollar? This is definitely the spot to find it! From one range to the next it is all available! The staff is amazing, uncovering needs and educating within the industry. Just moved downtown and can’t wait to go pickup two new cruisers!

My poor bicycle was in storage for several years and the boys at Jack’s brought it back to life! Appreciated that they didn’t try to sell me on unnecessary repairs and their prices for a new helmet, lights, and lock were reasonable. Highly recommend!

I went a few weeks ago to get some work done on a Bike. One of the younger guys of the staff there tried to convince me into buying new cable line for my Mountain Bike,when all i needed was a new Derailleur. On the receipt, he charged me almost $90 for cable line,but the new derailleur wasn’t on the receipt. I specifically went in there for a certain thing (derailleur) , and I was being charged $90 for something I didn’t ask for. If I hadn’t looked at my receipt and went back into the store, I would’ve been ripped off by $62. In the end, the work order was changed for the derailleur. I end up paying for what I initially came in for which was $34. Here is my reason for the bad experience and review at “JACK THE BIKE MAN”. THEY STILL INSTALLED THE CABLE LINE FOR FREE!! They tried to rip me off charge me $90 for a cable line, and which most likely they would’ve threw the derailer in there for free . I played dumb when i went in to see if these guys were going to be honest as “JACK THE BIKE MAN” . And they tried to take advantage of me. I wonder how many other people these guys take advantage of . This no longer feels like a mom and Pop place. This feels like the typical hole in the wall bike shop now that’s ran by an angry old man . They try to hustle people for money . They take “Donations” all the time. But are not willing to help someone who may need something as simple as a used chain without taking money. Jack would be ashamed to see how his shop team runs the place. If anyone comes to Jack the Bike man and think they’re gonna get the same Jack the Bike man hospitality, and service as he provided when he was here. Guess again. These guys are about making the best buck off of someone, and not providing a service that feels at home. THEY NEED TO CHANGE FROM JACK THE BIKE MAN. To Just “bike shop”. And stop the tarnishing of the name Jack.
