Custom Trek 520 with Bbshd 52v x 17.5ah from Luna Cycle. I built it in 2017 and after 6000 miles, I'm convicted that electric bikes are the most efficient travel machines in the world today. When I built this Luna Cycle looked to be the leaders of the industry. And they haven't disappointed. Years later, they're customer service is great, I'm thrilled with every product I've purchased. And as an aircraft mechanic, I've been closely watching their some of their other projects. I wonderful company I have recommended many times. Thank you Luna Cycle!

Luna bike is great. Need to be able to work on it yourself. Most mountain bikers I know wrench on their own ride. Works perfect for me as Luna has great support and Bafang motor is made to be serviced. So much power had to upgrade to a Dswiss E-bike specific rear hub and rim. After that I have had no problems. 4000 mountain bike miles on bike and going strong. Not uncommon to climb and descend 2500 ft every ride. 29” is only way to go. I am convinced my Luna bike is one of the fastest e-bikes in Bellingham. Thanks Seb!

I love this bike. It's so fun riding my bike now with the peddle assist and a throttle when I need a break. The bike has some of the best components on it and the shifting is a smooth as can be, and with the Hydraulic brakes you can stop on a dime. I would recommend this bike to anyone who is new to the E-Bike world. The people at Luna Cycles are great to deal with and have all the knowledge and parts you need too keep you on the trails. The MX5 is the best bike out of the box that’s currently available. Other bikes seem like toys or toy-ish. The 2 upgrades that’s needed in my opinion is a headlight if you ride at night. And tires if you’re on the street. Other than that your go to go. I added the Talaria XXX factory brake light. My top speed is 60MPH-ish. I’m faster than all my friends with E-ride 1.0 and 2.0 MX4 surron. I’m talking unmodified out of the box. Don’t get me wrong all these other bikes are good also but for what you get for the price, the MX five is the best deal for something you could go purchase today.

JUst wanted to Mahalo the staff at Luna Cycles for great service and absolutely a great Peddle assist MB.I was familiar with Luna Cycles from past purchases when Surrons were introduce to Hawaii a few years back. With their new show room, I decided to stop by while in California, and bought a Mountain Bike to ride in Temecula for the duration of our stay which was around 3 weeks. I planned on shipping the bike back to Hawaii after riding it in Cali, although learned a rude lesson on how difficult shipping can be when Batteries are involved. Long story short, we tried many options and all were complected. went back to Luna and they handled it with no questions asked and re created the MB and it made it to Hawaii in 12 days. THe bike is Bad ASS as well.THe price for what you get is a Deal with out question..
