I'm posting this in hopes that it can be rectified someway. Went by the store today, the guys who are really nice... amicable. The problem is this... I bought some new cranks that I think were probably overpriced but I don't mind that so much.... I'm trying to support the local businesses. I know it's going to cost a little extra. Here's my problem.. I know all these guys know pretty much what they're doing so the only reason I can ascertain rthis happened is because I don't know maybe they were distracted maybe they just didn't care? Stay at the store for about 45 minutes... an hour spend about $260 including some cranks and a bottom bracket that I obought. Naturally (and maybe this is my) I wholeheartedly trusted that I would have the right parts in my bag. Well obviously during the install I couldn't tell the difference between a 19 mm and a 22 mm spindle it's not a good situation. Frustrated because I can't finish putting my bike I'm together. On top of that things are really expensive right now. If I spend a good little chunk of money I'd like to know that at least the people that are selling it to me and know what they're talking about or telling me the right stuff. And also have either a bottom bracket which costs $50 or a cranks which costs even more that I can't use somewhere. Plus doubling up the work. Furthermore the drive there is about 45 minutes for me. We'll see what happens, we'll see if they respond. Professionalism and courtesy of the staff makes me think that they will take care of it. Hopefully I didn't get them as wrong as they got this bottom bracket. Thanks.

Best bike builder around, hands down. Knows his stuff. If you want a light, fast BMX race bike, go see Chris Rickard. We drive 3 hours to see him as it’s always done right, the first time, and at a competitive price.

Good experience. Dropped off for assembly on a Saturday afternoon. Took 2 business days for call on pick-up. They carry a good amount of accessories too. Plan on going back…

Chris is a good guy n his mother is a sweet heart, n ORP has good quality parts with expert advice n knowledge on bikes, from oldschool to midschool to newschool, whatever u need it's there or they will order for u or point u in the right direction ✌🏾💪🏾👊🏾

A picture is worth a thousand words but words provide an honorable mention to excellent service provided by good hands. After meeting Chris through a mutual CCC friend/ Mr. RJ as well as my brother, I decided to take my stock Electra Townie 21D for not only a face lift but a bit of fine tuning. Chris suggested changing out the stock bearings in the wheels as well as the crank and replacing them with sealed bearings, changing out the front metal crank/gears, crank arms and pedals for light weight components, not only reduced resistance but also lighten the cruiser overall. In addition the spoked wheels were changed out with red mags making it "pop" and giving the old townie and unique look. The rear gears and hub were also changed out with custom gear ratios recommended by Chris which made shifting of the gears seamlessly smoother giving me a faster top end. The chain was also changed out with a higher quality chain, color coordinated with the mags. The handle bars and neck were changed out giving it a townie/BMX hybrid look. Last but not least the tires were replaced with Michelin Protek Urban Aramid tires 87 PSI and Michelin C4 Protek Max MTB tubes. All in all the final package rides super smooth and quick. I definitely recommend this shop as well as Chris workmanship. Great job Chris!!!
