  You already can see how beautiful these bikes are, and function follows that form. "These bikes are well made" said the bike installer from his major-brand bike store when I picked it up. You see, I live on the east coast and Vintage shipped my bikes here from California to have them assembled. The logistics for that can take a little while, so be patient; your wait will be worth it. I've put about a 100 miles on the bike in the few weeks since I've had it; an hour ride a couple times a week is what I got the bike for. It's powerful--we live in a hilly area and this bike gets me up any hill with as much or as little effort as I choose. I recommend the Vintage Cafe for anyone who is interested in a pedal assist bike and who wants to have the best looking bike around. Great bike. Also--I mentioned the logistics of cross-country shipping and assembly. Eddie from Vintage went the extra mile to make sure everything turned out just right, and to make us happy customers.

  Vintage Electric Bikes is the real deal! I spent 4 months this past summer researching every type of ebike on the market. From custom made bikes to international brands, I searched the globe to find the perfect bike that met my high standards. After reading numerous articles and watching countless youtube videos, I began to call and even visit bike shops. All my research kept bringing me back to Vintage. The response was always about the high quality parts matched by the exceptional customer service. Finally, I decided to purchase the Roadster after having a chance to do a brief test ride. The speed (40mph) is absolutely insane. Passing cars on your bike is a thrilling experience. The classic look and attention to detail turns heads each and every time you hit the road. Riding solo is freeing, yet having a partner join you is something else. With the Roadster I doubled down and got my wife the Tracker. We have only had the bikes for the past two weeks, and I haven't stopped smiling since. Vintage bikes are not cheap. Matter of fact they are more of an investment. However, you truly get what you pay for and I honestly can't think of a better way to invest your money than on a piece of art that also brings you 40mph of pure joy!

  I had been eyeing Vintage Electric Bikes since I saw one on the street in Carmel, CA. So when I discovered that they had a model that suited my needs--the Cafe--I had to pull the trigger and buy one. And am I glad I did. This bike is beautifully built, more than powerful enough for the kind of fairly casual riding I do, and is, IMHO, the most beautiful E-bike out there (along w. Vintage Electrics' other models). The only thing I wasn't crazy about were the handlebar grips, which are lovely looking but seem to transmit every little bump directly to your hands. I switched them out for a pair of cork Ergon brand ergonomic grips, which buffers the shock to your hands and makes the bike feel so much smoother. My only other little niggle is that the battery life indicator seems to jump up and down all the time, depending how much pedal assist you are using. Even with a fully charged battery, the second you hit a hill and use assist level 4 or 5, the battery indicator immediately shows only two (of five) bars, which is a little disconcerting when you're just starting out on a ride. Of course, it settles down and shows a more realistic battery level when you stop riding, but this tendency makes judging the actual amount of power you have left on a ride hard to judge on the fly. Overall, the Vintage Electric Cafe is a fabulous bike. If you buy one, be prepared for a lot of envious looks from other bikers. I also get stopped a lot by folks who just want to know: "Where did you get that cool looking bike?"

  I just took delivery last week of my Vintage Electric Cafe and I could not love it anymore. The staff at Vintage made the purchase so easy and better yet the shipping from SoCal to New York seamless. They contacted a fantastic local bike shop that assembled the few items that still needed to be done and delivered my beautiful Cafe same day and flawlessly explained the ins and outs of my new ride. I’m a big boy at 6’3” 250 pounds and the pedal assist took a little getting used to but once I got the hang of it, it has been a piece of cake…I’m getting the workout I need and some assist on the bigger hills. The bike it truly a piece of art. Thanks to Eddie and Cam for making this purchase easy and enjoyable. Not the least expensive e bikes, but top quality and you get what you pay for…I’m already shopping for a second. I have 5 motorcycles and have as much fun with this bike as any motorcycle. This little e bike will get up and move so be careful as take it slow…you will be smiling ear to ear!
