AJ and Daood are awesome! They are super friendly and knowledgeable, and will help with whatever bike work you need. I bought a Felt gravel bike from them, and it's an amazing machine, best bike I've ever had. Then I asked for a bunch of modifications like more water bottle cages and a tubeless setup, and they got it done right away. I will definitely be going back!

I can't say enough great things about AJ and his shop! My partner and I were looking for a new road bike and decided to check out AJ’s Family Cyclery, even though it’s a smaller, newer shop compared to larger corporate stores like Trek or Mike’s Bikes in the Livermore area. Being right across the street from our neighborhood, we figured it was worth a visit—and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, AJ welcomed us with enthusiasm and genuine positivity. His customer service has been exceptional throughout our entire bike-buying journey. He took the time to understand what we were looking for, let us test ride a road bike, and patiently answered all our questions. Then, he casually suggested we try out one of his electric mountain bikes, given the great trails in the area. We took him up on that offer—and wow, are we glad we did! That test ride completely changed our minds, and we quickly realized an e-mountain bike was the perfect fit for us. AJ is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and transparent. I brought my old Trek to AJ and it came back riding like brand new. AJ communicated every step of the way, let me know what issues were found, and asked for approval before doing additional work. AJ spent a lot of time getting my bike back to 100% and I was surprised that my invoice didn't cost more. It was obvious that a lot of time and love went into this tune up. Fair prices, highest quality work, and great communication. I'll be bringing my bike back when it's time for another service.

Just picked up my beloved Purple Cruiser from AJ’s Family Cyclery. He restored it beautifully. Thankfully the rain waited for me to take the inaugural ride. The bike has never felt better. Highly recommend AJ’s if you love your bike. They will treat it with care.
