I was super worried that I waited too long to start training kids . My oldest is not the most… athletic. To my great surprise, grandpa was able to teach to ride a guardian bike after never having ridden any other bike, in only 7 short sessions, 45 min, hour and a half at most per session, and finally no more training wheels. It happened so fast the neighbors couldn’t believe it. A bike shop wanted me to buy an expensive e-bike to train on that is much more dangerous. I give grandpa 50% of the credit the other 50% really is the low center of gravity on the bike (my beloved rider surely raised the center of gravity). A couple of minor falls, nothing out of the ordinary, my child was able to easily reach the ground and catch themselves. Buy a bike at the lower end of the age range so that the bike is on the larger side and you will be fine and the bike will last for years, they are very well made.

Best purchase I ever made, my daughter was learning with the neighbor kids and their mom thought it looked weird so she proceeded to remove the wheel and misaligned it. I was in distress emailing them how to fix the problem. I didn't have the receipt or the card I bought it on. Didn't matter they just replaced it, they knew the whole story and replaced the bike. Not only that but they had an employee in the area that is meeting me somewhere to drop off the old bike, rather than all the hassle of boxing and labeling and dropping it off at ups. Not only that!!! But they fix the one I give them and donate it. All the 5stars would never do this place justice. This is how every company should operate.
