Had a wonderful experience at Small Shop today. I had a pretty simple issue (my bike chain was too loose) so the guy there fixed it up in like 5 min as well a loose seat issue I had been dealing with and didn't even charge me! I use the bike for work so it was absolutely incredible for me. Also they have a really cute shop cat named Gourd who is very friendly.

I bought my bicycle there last month and since then went back to get accessories. The sales people are attentive but approachable. I didn’t know anything about buying bicycles so I was nervous but they were very helpful and understanding. They recommended a reasonably priced bike and always were up to install whatever thing I needed. I went back a few times and was greeted warmly and with fast an efficient service. They also host a summer ride through Bronzeville and I had the time of my life!

All the bikes look amazing and work amazing. The owner & everyone in the shop is so nice, helpful, and professional. I am so glad I sought out this place to buy my bike, and will definitely recommend anyone who wants to buy a bike in Chicago.

It's been great service each time I've been. It's a small shop but pretty much have what you may need. The guys are great. They are very helpful and don't do things to try and get your money. I've bought good tires here that they charged less for than Amazon. The same with tubes. Additionally, I was told about some of the wear and tear on my bike which wasn't surprising. He didn't try to sell me on any repairs but just made some tweaks to get me back on the road. A very nice experience by people who aren't pretentious. It doesn't hurt that it's a local neighborhood shop that I can go to. An overall great experience.
