    My experience with Strictly Ebikes was fantastic. Let me start by saying I'm a pain as a customer. It takes a bit for me to decide. That said I visited their shop after trying several others who carry bikes as a side business. As their name implies, Bikes is all these guys do and they know their bikes. They had a large inventory to look at and conveniently had a nice area next to the store to test ride. Another shop down the street had a very small selection and test ride would consist of very busy street traffic. No thanks. Also, unlike other shops the staff here was incredibly patient. This was my first ebike purchase and I had a ton of questions. They never rushed me, and pointed out the pro's and cons of each bike I was interested. I test rode 4 bikes. And finally told them I wanted to sleep on it. They never acted frustrated in the least as I told them the bike I liked but would come back the next day, after taking a hour of their time. The next day I returned and asked to test ride another bike, then the one I liked. After all that I decided to purchase the Mokwheel Asphalt that I originally liked and asked how long it would take them to assemble. Well, they had a sense I would come back and had already pre-assembled the bike. It was brought out, along with a bunch of freebies, and tuned for me, with a detailed explanation of every feature on the bike. The entire experience was great and this is the only shop I will use.

    Just an all around wonderful bike shop! Some of the most friendly people you've ever met who are passionate about ebikes and customer service. I brought my friend and her bike here after a little accident, and they took care of her like she was an old friend. Thank you again! If I needed a bike, I would have bought one right there. But, when I do need an ebike, I know where I'm going to shop. 12/10 customer service.

    Asif was awesome. He was very patient with me and answered every question I had. The fact that I could test ride any ebike I wanted made all the diference in the world. There’s nothing like looking at products in the real world! Asif made sure I made my decision without being pushy and I really liked that. This shop has set the bar high for my ebike experience.

    I was the rider who fell off one of your bikes at the DC Auto Show. I love the bike itself—it’s well-designed and rides great. However, I have serious concerns about how you chose to showcase it. After signing the waiver, I noticed that safety was visually emphasized—through signs and paperwork—but not actually enforced. Riders were allowed on the track without helmets, and there was no safety briefing beyond a quick “5 laps and here’s the acceleration.” As a semi-professional go-kart racer, I clearly remember the turn where I fell. I was at about 75-85% of the bike’s max speed, taking a wide tuning lane—nowhere near an aggressive apex. Yet, the bike slipped, and I went down. The issue? The track’s smooth carpet surface didn’t provide enough traction. At a lean angle of 60-70 degrees, the bike had no grip, making a fall inevitable. This was a track failure, not rider error. To make matters worse, the first thing I heard after falling was, “You’re done, you can leave.” No concern, no check-in—just a dismissal. That was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional, especially in a situation where safety should be a priority. I’m sharing this to raise awareness so others don’t get hurt like I did. You carry lives on your products, and when it comes to safety, it’s always better to be overly cautious. Helmets, proper track surfaces, and actual safety briefings should be the standard—not an afterthought.
