This is the absolute worst bicycle shop I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I needed two flats repaired. The first time they failed to seat the tire completely, as the edge of the tire was not all the way inside the rim, and I had to explain that the edge of the tire was rubbing against my breaks. The second time, a couple years later, I brought the wheel in after removing it from the bike myself. They mounted the tire in the opposite direction of rotation as marked by an arrow on the tire's outer edge near the rim of the wheel. They didn't even know what the direction of travel was so they claimed because the bike was at home, even though the wheel had a sprocket and the sprocket is always on the right. When I rode the bike in, and asked them to switch the direction of the tire, they said no problem. Then as they mounted the wheel back on the bike they ruined a perfect black paint job on both sides of the frame, one smaller gouge, and one large two inch long jagged gouge both showing the bright metal of the frame where the black paint used to be. How difficult is it to be professional and take care not to damage products that may have a level of importance to the owner? In the future I will drive to Manteca or farther out, if I have to. But I will never waste my time, energy, expectation, and money on such poor workmanship ever again, with those guys. It seems like it may have been done intentionally by the impression I got. Super disappointed to say the least!

This shop charged me over 100.00 to service my bike. I took it home and the brakes were so tight that they were rubbing the wheel. I took my bike to Bike Life to have them look at it and basically the service work that Tracy Cyclery said they did wasn’t done. They had to redo the brakes and do wheel truing..all of which I paid for at the bike shop. I’m so disappointed in their service. Definitely don’t have to worry about me returning. Ever.

I don’t know why so many negative reviews. Bought a name brand cycle dirt cheap off market place. Novice here as far as upkeep and fixing of bikes is concerned. Visited the store thinking that the bike needs a service/ tune up. Ed was not only helpful but also advised against it. He greased the brakes, turned the wheels, checked the air pressure, and done. He could have charged $100+ for a tune up if he wanted but he didn’t. All the people complaining about the staff being rude, I disagree!! Be respectful and get respected.

The employees in this shop are extremely rude, and I’ve never encountered such behavior anywhere else. Additionally, the service prices are inconsistent, as they seem to change depending on the customer.

Very over priced store have almost no selection. If you want a real bike shop with lots of selection and fair prices, do your self a favor and go to robby's bike shop in Stockton they will actually have what you want and help you out with friendly service.
