Fantastic shop! Rob and WLC has been my go to shop for years. Not only do they provide great service but excellent advice too. Rob just saved my butt with advice on a rear wheel that for sure is near failure. And not to sell me a wheel, but out of concern for a fellow cyclist. WLC didn't have a replacement in stock and Rob was still happy to help me with replacement wheels I bought online as well as brake issues. Not enough nice things to say about Rob and WLC. Thankful to have WLC as a part of the Pittsburgh cycling community.

Great experience. I am a recent retiree who bought my first e-bike and wanted it tuned-up/checked out. Rob was awesome over the phone. The appointment was easy to make and quick to get. In shop, Rob and Cam were exceptionlly kind, professional and patient on pick-up as they explained best-practices for maintenance etc. Really couldn't have asked for a better and very patient service

Great locally owned bike shop. The owner and staff couldn’t be more helpful or fair. They’re very good at explaining repairs, giving me options and their prices are quite reasonable vs larger chain Pgh bike shops. Repairs have always been completely before they promised in my case. Drop off and pick up are easy. I hope this store continues to do well.

I took my beloved carbon racing bike in to have the cables replaced. Rob, the owner, told me it would be $60. When I picked it up, he charged me an additional $24 for the cables that he hadn't told me I would need to pay extra for. I never mentioned it and just paid it with a smile. When I got home I discovered several scratches, some large, and the front tube was very rough the entire length about 2" wide which looked like cracks and deep abrasions in the frame, which would totally ruin my bike making it unsafe to ride. It had been in perfect condition, and I had just fully detailed it before dropping it off. So I rearranged my dinner plans and took it back. I admit I had a tone when I asked if there was anything they wanted to tell me about my frame. The young guy calmly explained the tube wasn't scratched, that he just never cleaned off the residue from the previous cables. While I'm used to better service than that, I said ok good, but the others were definitely new scratches. Instead of even offering to touch them up, Rob literally started screaming at the top of his lungs, jumping up and down, called me a bad person with other insults and screamed to get out of his store and never come back. I've never seen a grown man that unhinged. Ever. To suggest he was having a bad day is an understatement. Needles to say I will never go back and cannot recommend them. In response to Rob's comments below, that bike is not some 20-year-old clunker. It was totally babied for 2 yrs, then I had it wrapped & stored for the last 12 years, so it's 14 and barely used. And he knew that. It was in mint condition as nothing but the tires EVER touched down. There are two places that have barely visible wear. I was in no way upset about those. Despite the new scratches that they did that were not normal wear and tear and were not there before, I honestly would not have even taken my bike back had it not been for the 2' x 2" very rough patch on my front tube, which he admits below to this poor quality work despite overcharging me. It looked and felt like cracks and deep abrasions, enough to compromise the safety of the frame, and that's what I was upset about. Rob also knows he never once used a civil tone and was instantly loud, angry and irrational. Then he justifies his emotional response, but condemns me for being upset that I thought he ruined my bike? He immediately started screaming instead of offering to do anything about it or even explain or apologize for the lousy work. Instead, he screamed at me with a red face and fists flying in the air to do it myself and to get out. I wish I could say I'm exaggerating, but I'm not. At all. I actually thought he was going to hit me. His response here twisting the story adds lying to his already shameful behavior. He's a little guy, so I doubt he treats men this way, but be particularly careful alone around him if you're a woman. Regardless, no one deserves to be treated like this.
