Bethesda Bike and Ski is hands down the best shop in the area for both biking and winter sports. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have the right gear. Whether you need a bike tune-up, ski service, or expert advice, they’ve got you covered. The service is top-notch, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. I’ve been here multiple times, and every experience has been excellent. Highly recommend!

Bethesda Bike and Ski are the best. I grew up with the original shop aka Big Wheel Bikes. They have paid homage to its memory in keeping its iconic retro displays and with their exceptional dedication to the craft, service and quality products. Every time I return, I learn something new. The staff have worked with me already multiple times to help set me up with a bike within my budget and keep me on 2 wheels at all costs. I won’t soon forget my experiences here and have the utmost respect and gratitude for this group of professionals at Bethesda Bike and Ski!

I went in the shop Yes, morning with the flat tire on my Go flex scooter They don't sell go flex scooters.But that didn't make a difference.They helped me out.They put air on my tire. They were very nice and very accommodating, very friendly. Later, yesterday afternoon it had gone flat again so I had to get to work. They let me borrow a small pump and told me to come back in the morning and leave it and they would work something out and get me going. And that's exactly what they did very nice very professional. They have made a customer out of me. I was so pleased and so grateful. Wonderful place wonderful wonderful place that's all I could say

I recently had the pleasure of receiving service from BBS, particularly Bruce, Jeff, and Tony, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff demonstrated exceptional skill and knowledge in their field, making me feel confident in their abilities. I am very grateful to be within walking distance of the shop. My Bike repairs were completed within the estimated time frame, if not sooner. The staff is prompt in responses to inquiries and concerns. I appreciate the transparency about costs and any additional expenses. Again, the staff and interns are friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I am looking forward to the ski season, taking my gear in for service, and participating in the ski retreats/trips discussed in the store and posted on the website.

Bruce, Jeff, Sebastian and Tony provide first rate service and are willing to think through what customers really need and provide great value. They took my two old bikes off the scrap heap and now have them purring. Also incredible to again have a ski shop inside the beltway in Maryland. These folks really know what they are doing and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
