My first time at Phat Tire. Great and clean store with plenty of parts, gear, and accessories to go along with the bikes. I dropped my bike in for service. They were very pleasant and took all the time necessary at drop off to understand what I was looking for and then the time necessary to discusses any challenges with the service upon pick up. The initial quote was spot on for the final bill and they turned it around quickly.

These guys help my bike back to life with new fork and hardware they found. Even though my bike is not a brand they carry yet they took it in and tried. I appreciate their willingness to help which is hard to find nowadays. Thank you so much Phat Tire. I will be back.

Unreasonably, unusually expensive. I was preparing for a 100k race, and they quoted $400 for a tuneup (new chain, wheels balanced and trued, new brakes, etc.). AL’s did the exact same job for $65 with parts I brought in! The guys in the store are nice enough, but what a monumental ripoff. It offended me enough to write a review, and I’m a guy that has never sent back food (or complained) at a restaurant. I just eat and move on… but for a 515% markup, I really hope they fail (they are a large chain anyway).

Brought in an adult bike that rear ended a boulder in the road, and they fixed it nice and speedy, quality service, positive attitude, made the whole day better!
