Max not only is good at what he does and knows his stuff, but is also unbelievably patient! Over the recent months he has worked on two bikes for me, making them like almost new, and then sold me a Salsa and bike rack for my SUV. He worked patiently with me in changing the handle bars on the Salsa so they are at a height that doesn’t create tension in my neck. AND he worked with me extensively in determining which suv bike rack works best given my lack of physical strength and mechanical abilities. He’s amazing at what he does!!! Highly recommend!

The staff and owner are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They don't sell services you don't want or need. If they see something not installed correctly or well, they'll fix it. Their bikes are priced fairly. I can't say enough good things. If you want a bike, stop here first.

I was interested in getting a used steel bike and I found Bikemax online. I saw a Serotta on their website with Campagnolo components that looked great. I reached out to them and they got back to me right away. The bike shop is great and Mio showed me the bike and let me do a test ride, got me set up with what I needed. Their pricing is very straightforward and they are very knowledgeable and very approachable. Overall, it was a great experience and I’ve been loving the Serotta. I highly recommend them!

The owner is extremely knowledgeable about bicycles, brands, parts, sizing, pricing, etc., and it’s very noticeable. I’ve been to other repair shops that were very decent, but they only repaired my bikes. BikeMax repairs your bike, and you will learn something new while having a great conversation. The owner does awesome work, is honest, and is super chill. Go support this small business.

If you're looking to purchase, repair or upgrade a bike, you can totally trust BikeMax, Max and Mio's honest recommendations. This is a cool local Bike shop run by bike enthusiasts who know all bicycles, road, gravel, mtn, etc. When I couldn't remove my bottom bracket I found BikeMax. Max easily removed it and I was so impressed by the attention to detail at this shop that I let them upgrade my whole bicycle. Their recommendations and mechanical skills resulted in a build that far exceeded what I could have done myself! Outstanding service and very reasonable prices!
