UPDATE: It has been a year and my boy is still obsessed with his bike!! The quality has been top tier! Just wanted to share that!! This store was recommended by a good friend of mine when I mentioned we wanted to get my son a bike for the summer since we didn't last year and honestly I'm SO GLAD she did! Neil helped us today, fitted him for the perfect bike for his size and even fitted him with a quality helmet! We did spend a pretty penny; but I don't care because QUALITY matters and so does safety. Neil was so knowledgeable and kind!! Our son even said "he was so nice and helpful!" When we got into the car!! HIGHLY recommend! Go see Neil yall!!

This shop always keeps my son moving. Today was the second time they have made a repair to his bike for me. Once a new rotor and today some adjustments. They are always honest and very helpful. Thank you

I took my daily rider into Olde Towne Bicycles after it had been sitting for 6 years. It's intimidating bringing a 10 year old $300 bike into a shope with professional bicycles and equipment but they treated my little bike like a star! I asked for a tuneup and to let me know if it needed anything after sitting for so long. The tuneup was extremely reasonable, they did several small repairs and even cleaned it up quite a bit! They called to let me know all I really needed was some new handlebar wraps if I wanted them. I know nothing about bikes, they could have told me anything was wrong, but everything was included in the tuneup and they got me out of there for a really fair price! The night I brought my bike home the front tire completely depressurized (not their fault, it was a problem before) and when I took it back they gave the rim a total look over for burs or issues and fixed it up at no cost! I'm just a casual rider now, with very little knowledge of bikes. I felt so comfortable in the shop and comfortable knowing they had no interest in up selling or taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. Highly recommend!

Terrible bike shop, terrible customer service, and terrible bike maintenance repair skills. Worst bike shop I have ever been too. The owner poked me on my shoulder and I would consider that an assault. They are rude and hostle towards customers which is ridiculous considering the amount of money down the drain we have spent trying to get our bikes fixed correctly. They act like they could care less about your bike or your satisfaction with their work and get hostile when asked about issues with the bike that they should have fixed and we're paid to be fixed but we're not and also I've had multiple new issues arrise after getting bikes back from them. The employees are just as hostile as the owners. People need to stop shopping at this bike shop and consider a much better option in my opinion Trek. Old town bikes has the very worst customer service I have ever gotten anywhere from any store please keep this in mind.

We bought an e bike in a box. Assembled it ourselves but the directions were not very good. Brought the bike in to be checked out. Dan (the owner) took over and re-assembled the bike and replaced a broken part. And checked the bike out. He did this on the spot and I was in and out in about 40 minutes. Great service and fair price. Worth the drive to Fredericksburg.
